Follow these simple steps:

1. Go to the Discord Developer Portal and click on New Application in the top right corner.
2. After Entering a name and clicking on the Create button, you get taken to the app page. There you'll find an application id, that you will need later.
3. Download the latest version either from the top of this website or the GitHub releases and execute the installer.
4. After following the instructions, launch the programm and paste the application id from earlier in the corresponding field in the top left corner. Then click Connect to connect to your app.
5. If the application id field is now
   • green, you can enter all the details you like and click Update Activity to update your Rich Presence.
   • grey, your antivirus probably prevented this app from running.
   • red, an error message with more details should have popped up. Please follow the instructions on this window.

Solution 1:

If there is another app running longer than Discord Custom RP Plus, close that app and reopen it after starting Discord Custom RP Plus

Solution 2:

Open your Discord app, go to Settings > Activity Privacy and make sure, that Display current activity as status message is enabled.

Solution 3:

It is possible, that your app is being rate limited by discord. To resolve that issue, wait a few minutes or create a new Application.

Follow these 4 simple steps:

1. Go to the Discord Developer Portal and click on your application.
2. Click on the Rich Presence tab on the left.
3. On this page, click on the blue Add Image(s) button, select an image and optionally rename it.
4. After clicking on safe, go back to Discord Custom RP Plus and paste the image name into the Image key field.
